What's Nearby See the 18th century through a whole new light! Tour by candlelight the historic tavern (ca. 1785) and City Hotel built in 1792. Operated by John Gadsby, the tavern and hotel hosted many famous visitors, including Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Madison, and Monroe.
Tours led by costumed guides.
